Student spotlight! This is Cassidy! She is from St. Francis, MN. Cassidy is a junior here at Augsburg majoring in Psychology and Law. Cassidy never thought that she was able to go to college before finding Augsburg but what really brought her to StepUp was being able to live in a sober environment. Cassidy has lived both on and off campus but has found having the most sense of community is living on campus and that has helped tremendously.

Step Up brings together Minneapolis young people ages with Twin Cities employers through internships and training that build careers and lead to a diverse, skilled and equitable workforce.
Since , Step Up has created over 30, high-quality internship opportunities. We equip young people to create bright futures through work readiness training, paid in-person and online internships and other career exploration opportunities, and connections with adult mentors who can help them achieve their career goals and become our next generation of community leaders.
We help employers in 15 industries diversify their workforce and build a strong base of young, skilled workers who can keep our future regional economy and our communities strong and vibrant.
